The mission of Crossreach is to support independent living by providing health and social services that promote the dignity and well-being of the participant and their families and/or caregivers.

Crossreach was founded in 1973 to provide support to  seniors, their families and their caregivers who were finding it difficult to maintain an independent lifestyle due to issues arising from the aging process.  Over the past 45+ years, our organization has expanded both the scope of the services provided and the number of seniors served.  At the present time our main focus is to operate an Adult Day Center as part of the health care system funded by the Province of BC through the  Vancouver Coastal Health Authority.  Currently we provide services to approximately 65 seniors.

Crossreach is a society incorporated under the laws of the Province of BC.  It is managed by a community based Board of Directors who are elected annually.  Membership is required for $10.00.  Crossreach is also a registered charity for the purposes of the Income Tax Act.
